How far can they go?

Place: Bargaining Council for the Restaurant, Catering and Allied Trades
Date: 4 June 2012
Case: Unfair Dismissal
Applicant: Jamilu Senkungu (Represented by: Paul Van Straaten)
Respondent: ENVY LOUNGE RESTAURANT (Owned by Muli Weltsman and family), represented by Nelly for the company, an Attorney and an Advocate

Company accepted that they owe the applicant his salary and that they were in wrong, by not paying him.

Place: CCMA
Date: 11 September 2012
Case: Unfair Dismissal
Applicant: Rumbidzai Kaliyati (Represented by: Paul Van Straaten)
Respondent: Cash Is King  (Owned by Muli Weltsman and family)

An Default award was made to the Applicant

This applicant was driven around by an Off-duty Policeman, hired by Muli Weltsman, to do his dirty work. This policeman threatened this cripled woman, told her that she has no "JOB" any more and if she returns, he will arrest her, and make sure she never work in South Africa again.
Apparently this Off-duty policeman have also done the same with other employees. Taking the duty to inform employees that they do not have a "JOB" at Envy Lounge Restaurant etc.

RESULT: Applicant win an award of R44,000.00

Place: Bargaining Council for the Restaurant, Catering and Allied Trades
Date: 14 September 2012
Case: Constructive Dismissal
Applicant: Carmelita Fisher (Represented by: Paul Van Straaten)
Respondent: ENVY LOUNGE RESTAURANT (Owned by Muli Weltsman and family), represented by Nelly for the company, an Attorney and an Advocate, that was not available.

The company made an offer, therefore it's clear that they knew they were going to loose he case.

RESULT: Applicant win, and Company pays her the very same day!
The day before Carmelita had to appear in April 2012, Paul made known that he will attend Carmelita's case, and he was attacked and left to die. He saw his attackers and know where he saw them. The people that rented these assasins sent guys to try and get rid of Paul again in June 2012, and they visited him again on 4 October 2012.
The best part of it all is, we know where to find these thugs. We have their vehicle registration numbers, telephone numbers and much more! We know everything about them, and they might be caught sooner than what they expect.. En dan gaan die poppe dans! Apparently the person that hired these thugs, may be involved with drugs, smuggling and ordering attacks on various people.

Watch this space as people will be shocked to realise that even the ones that think they are untouchable will be touched by the Justice system in South Africa.

If the shoe fits... Wear it!

There is a saying...

If the Shoe fits, wear it! And it seems some whites that came to reap the cream of the crop in South Africa, tried to kill Paul Van Straaten. But, it's not over ... YET!

They could not kill our dear friend, even they tried to lead him into meeting them again over the past weekend.

They know that Paul know who attacked him, and Paul saw at least one of his attackers at this place. So be it. There is something very wrong at that place and we will seek the truth and find it. this is not the Old South Africa where the whites did as they dig. This is a new South Africa and we know there are some people on this man's payroll, which we will make sure are shown to the rest of the world.

CAR TOWING SERVICES

In the next few weeks we will learn about this company, it's employees and employees whom were forced and bullied into resigning, even being threatened that they will "Never work in South Africa Again", and others that were dismissed. Instead of the company protecting it's employees they were treated with utmost disrespect, while the employees themselves gave their full support to the team doing a Forensic investigation. Some were even escorted off the premises, while it took months for the company to oblige with normal statutory documents that these people are entitled to.
While some people are still in their employ, even though they took part in the so-called fraud.

What is quite amazing is the fact that one of the owners bought a farm in Bela-Bela, built a R2,000,000.00 house and after the roof gave in, demolished this multi million rand house and started building a house of apparently R10,000,000.00. While this same man gave orders to his employees to withhold VAT invoices so that the SARS do not owe them money, and may ask for an Audit on the company. Further more one of the ladies that resigned had to count out more than a R1,000,000.00 in cash (Apparantly more than once), IN CASH that were kept on the premises, to pay the Contractor building this house. This company also have a shop on the premises that get's funded from the company and apparently VAT is claimed from the company , yet the cash that is made by this shop does not go into the books of the company and neither is the VAT charged for goods sold in this shop reflected on the company's VAT records.

We will in the coming weeks launch our own Investigative journalism into the saga where roumors have it that many inside changes were done by staff, on orders by certain management staff to make sure that SARS do not do an audit on the firm.

It was found that the same man that the owners gave a job as Financial Director, had a previous run-in with the law. They took him on, knowing what he has done before. And the most funiest part of it all is that they gave this man full power of Attorney to handle with the company's finances as he saw fit.

We will keep you posted on this matter, as it seems very unfair towards employees after they have just done whatever orders they were given by management.

African Legal Services and southafricanneews007

During the last few years, Paul Van Straaten of African Legal Services have given us a lot of news on companies ill-treating their employees. This while the owners of the companies live in luxury. Most of these companies exploit the poorest of the poor, and let them work long hours without paying them what they promised.
The past few weeks Paul again gave valuable information which we will post here on this blog for the world to see.
Paul became known as a fighter for the underdog and he promised to fight on.

Paul can be contacted on: 074 236 7477, as he will relate all the news to us! http://www.africanlegalservices.za.net/
